Boot Camp Information

Upon joining the Young Marines unit, youth undergo a 26-hour orientation program, generally spread over several weekly meetings. This orientation program is called “Boot Camp”. The youth learn general subjects such as history, customs and courtesy, close order drill, physical fitness, and military rank structure. After graduating from Young Marines “Boot Camp”, the youth have the opportunity to learn new skills, earn rank, wear the Young Marines uniform, work towards earning ribbons, and even attending local and national events. The Young Marines earn ribbons in areas of leadership, community service, swimming, academic excellence, first aid, and drug resistance education.
We will begin accepting new recruits during the fall.
Please feel free to contact the Pueblo Young Marines for more information.
Our next Boot Camp will be SPRING 2017
